SKeTCHBOOK MP1
This is my favorite sketchbook page that I drew this marking period. I chose to highlight this one because I felt that this one was the one I had drawn the best and it is one of my favorite things: The Boston Red Sox. The materials that I used to make this were simple markers, a sharpie, crayons, pencil, and chalk pastels. This page is about the Red Sox and their stadium Fenway Park, they had just won the World Series and I wanted to draw something about them. This page stands out from all of my other pages because I knew exactly what I was drawing and I thought it was drawn well, in most of my previous sketches, all I did was start drawing a pattern and then go with the flow, but this one I actually had a goal to draw. I really didn't try any new ways of drawing, all I did was use a picture from the computer and redraw it, which I do a lot. I think a lot of people would say it is not that good of a drawing because it is a little sloppy but I am not a very good drawer so to me, it's good but other people may not say that.
SKETCHBOOK MP2
I chose to highlight this sketchbook page because I felt that this is one of the best, if not the best drawing I have have ever done, and because I really like the Patriots. The materials I used to make this were graphite, water color, sharpie, and crayola marker. This drawing is about my favorite football team the New England Patriots. This one stands out from all of my other drawings because it is the best one and the one I put the most time and effort into. I think people would say that I did a good job on this work because I am not the best artist so a really good drawing for me definetly stands out so people would say I improved. I do see improvements in my drawing, and they are better lines, coloring, and shape.
